If you liked this book you might also want to read Soul Surfer: A true story of faith, family, and fighting to get back on the board. Soul Surfer is the story of Bethany Hamilton, a thirteen-year-old surfer girl who lost her arm in a shark attack in 2003. In spite of the injury, she went on to participate in surfing competitions and won the 2004 ESPY award for Best Comeback Athlete and the 2004 Teen Choice Award for Most Courageous Teen.
